- The Necromancer is a Specialist Wizard who specialises in Necromancy Spells.
- +1 bonus for saving throws against Necromancy Spells.
- Others have -1 penalty when rolling saving throws against a Necromancer's Necromancy Spells.
- One extra spell slot at each spell level. This slot has to be a Necromancy Spell.
- +15% chance when learning Necromancy Spells.
- -15% chance when learning spells from other schools.
- Learns one Necromancy Spell at level up.
- Cannot learn Illusion/Phantasm, Enchantment/Charm spells.
From Player's Option: Spells & Magic (Optional):
- Cannot learn Alchemy, Artifice, Geometry, Song, & Wild Magic spells.
- At 8th level, saving throws against Necromancy Spells increases to +2 bonus total
- At 11th level, the necromancer gains a special speak with dead spell-like ability
- Somatic Only, Concentrate 1 round,
- Duration one turn and ask four questions of the spirit.
- At 14th level, gains a +2 to saving throws against strength drain, paralyzation, and other effects.
- May attempt a saving throw vs. death magic with a –4 penalty to avoid the effects of any attack that normally does not allow a save.
